Thinking of creating a new PC after about 2 years. Anything that I should know about the game, IC/OOC? When are the new guilds going to become a reality?

There's a few quality of life changes that have come about. GMHs do NOT hire House Hunters anymore. Kuraci Fort was destroyed, and the Outpost is now operated by a GMH Conglomerate.
Brew code is gone, and pushed fully into the crafting code.
Elves are still shifty assholes.
Elves now get triple the combat bonus for being mounted.
It is now possible to trigger Mul Rage in Breeds.
The human ability to give birth to twins on a consistent basis has been made canon as the officially recognized stable mutation. This is how humanity maintains their numbers and dominance over the Known.
Old players, if they havent had a character logged in for at least 12 months, get +1 to every stat of their newly rolled character. +2, if they are elves.

The new guilds aren't enforced, yet, but they're available for beta testing (https://gdb.armageddon.org/index.php/topic,53139.0.html)! Thus far, there hasn't been any ETA on when they might be rolling out.
