We have pour for liquid containers. What I'd like to see, is the ability to codedly dump one container into another. It'd be nice. And I thought it was imp'd before, but seems like I was wrong, as I can't find a way to make it work.

empty backpack elf

You dump a whole bunch of rocks on the svelte, lithe, sinewy, raven-haired elf.

You pour the contents of your leather backpack into the long-necked elf.

Not exactly the right sort of target there spawn.

I was just using the same usage as the help pour.

Heh, I was mostly playing...but think it'd be good to imp this 'empty' idea with the idea of being able to empty containers into others' laps (read: inventories) as well, up to the limit of their inventory size.

That might work, although I could find it being annoying too if you have no option of trying to stop it, or just not keep hold of whatever they are pouring on you.

Mostly, I'd like to see more ability to group things together, but an empty command would be a nice start. I hate spamming the room.

So and so gets something from someplace.
So and so puts something into some other place.

You can already do this, with the POUR command.

This would be cool to have for all containers, not just those used for liquids (or does it work for those, too...!?).

i've been pouring bag into bag or bag into pack or pack into sack for a long time. that's why my gf calls this the "pack in sack" game. Because most of the time she looks at my screen, I just happen to be pouring some kind of pack into some kind of sack. I like it and use it with her every time now.
