Title: Separate karma and CGP

Have CGP be separate from karma, with your max CGP being double your karma + 2.

Let people spend CGP on karma races, magick subguilds, and stats/skills.

Make extended subguilds replace the current subguilds btw.

My reasoning for this is that karma is a meter of trust in a player to contribute positively to the gameworld and it's theme. Enabling them the option of playing more powerful characters to do so is the reasoning for my suggestion.

The idea of chargen points being capped higher than your max karma sounds really nice. It rewards players who create long lived characters which seems to be something that staff wants players to be good at.

Sure I can get on board with this one. Would have accrued hella karmz on my last PC.

Yeah! I wanna play a mul warrior/elkrosian too.  ;D

Joke aside, before this karma system the max karma was 8, which is exactly what you suggested above (double your max karma + 2). However it was increasing one by one. What you suggest is it increases by 3 each time we get a karma.  So that we can have more CGP to spend, especially for skill/stat increases. A good suggestion.

My longest living chars were all 0 karma. IMO, the longevity depends on how you play.
