Title: Excess of Wood
Post by: Petra on November 10, 2003, 11:03:31 PM
I understand there is an attempt to reduce the amount of wooden structures and such in the Vrun Driath, but what about the rest of the game world?  Though wood is harvested out of the north, is it realistic for nearly every city wall within Tuluk to be comprised of enormous slabs of wood?  Not to mention the fire hazard such a display would cause in a desert world -- and for people whose city already burnt to the ground once -- is there really that much wood to go around?  How do such massive, endless lumber projects thrive in halfling-infested territory?  While I expect to see more wood in Tuluk than anywhere else, I wonder if presently there is perhaps a little bit too much?  Wood should still be a relatively precious commodity, I think, as there is a very finite (and dwindling) supply at hand.
