Title: Average Waiting Time for New Characters
Post by: John on February 17, 2016, 07:28:42 AM
I thought it might help people to post how often they (on average) have to wait for their character to be approved. I frequently die (I now average 1 RL week! There are exceptions of course in both directions) and I'm an off peak player.

My last character approval was 1.5 hours. It wasn't in the middle of off-peak time. But it was definitely not during on peak.

Character before that was 1 hour and 17 minutes. This was in the dead of off-peak time.

I'd be surprised if anyone has to wait 12 hours these days, let alone 24 ;)

What do other people find is the average approval time for them?

One of my special apps took almost four months to get approved. Another special app took a couple of days. Averaging isn't going to be very useful for my accounts.

The typical "low" for my regular apps is a few hours. The typical "high" is "I submit just before going to bed, and it's approved at some point between then and the next morning when I get up."

Usually the longest I wait is 4 to 6 hours.  Most fall in the 1-3 hour range.

Staff have been serious asskickers lately on apps and requests!

I've stored, made a special app, and had it accepted in like...three hours before I think?
It might have been for skill bumps but still.

"actual" special apps are generally 2 weeks to a month.

extended subs are usually a week

normal apps are like an hour to two at the most.
