That pretty much sums it up, although it'd be neat to be able to see at a glance which rolecalls were available at the moment. (I realize none are now, but before some had quite long deadlines.)

it's a good idea. Not something moderators can do, since we can't edit Staff Announcement posts. But staff making role call announcements can choose to link the time frame to the calendar if they want.
