My favorite is elkros. I'd say my least favorite is nilazi because I always tend to prefer gemmed to rogue. Haven't ever played either though.
allanaki templar.
Also you should separate the sorcerer roles into four different ones each, since full-sorcerers aren't played by players anymore. :^)
Where is none option?

I can't remember what the four subguilds are, the website isn't helping and I don't have a character in play right now to get the helpfile.

Enchantment, Combat, Movement, Enlightenment.
Where's the Other option?
:o What else is there?
haven't played one yet, but I hope to one day, play an Elkrosian
Always been a huge fan of lightning wielders in almost any fantasy setting.
Want to make a Thor character now.
I like Whirans but only cause flying
I've always had trouble with magick, wrapping my head about it to roleplay my characters has been difficult. By far my favourite magick-using character was a House Oashi employed drovian. It was very interesting because there was a very well defined culture and established lore around magick use that I could learn and use to structure my RP. Similarly when I played a certain tribal rukkian because of their magick documentation (He, unfortunately, died prematurely to Carru charge!). I voted Other because I really don't care about Magick class, so long as it is part of a clan that has good magick documentation! The few magick-users I played who were trying to figure it out on their own were much harder to get into.
I have not played a Templar. Yet!
Nilazi.
Dark, dark shit.
Having played vivaduans, rukkians, krathi, and whiran... Whiran was my favorite of the four. I enjoyed being able to play the character as something more than a mage, while being able to contribute toward their occupation with their magick (and no I never killed anyone).
The idea of nilazi appeal to me more than any other magicker class, but I've yet to play one, or even directly encounter an obvious one in game. Kind of weird, now that I think about it. I've run into sorcs and psions and every flavor of mage but nilazi.
Voted none. Had multiple levels of magicker karma for years and I can't even recall the last time I tried one. Many years ago. It just didn't appeal to me. I'm glad some people enjoy it, but, magickers just aren't for me.
As for magickers I like to encounter. Sorcerers. I have never ran into a Sorcerer who was played poorly.
Sadly, most of my encounters with Whirans have been negative. Twink insta-kills and even one confirmed revenge character (because I killed their very last PC who was also a magicker/Krathi). I'm not saying all Whiran players are twinks, I'm saying that for some reason the Whiran skillset appears to attract more people who are willing to abuse/twink out their characters. I'm glad it got bumped higher up the karma chain. Since it has, I haven't encountered this issue again or heard about anyone else encountering it.
Who the hell put 'poopazi' into the poll? I think someone hacked me or something.
poopazi is the staff guild
it only appears when you have the imm flag on your account
Fireballs. 'Nuff said.
