I thought there was a way to throw a light source into a darkened room. The throw command does not seem to work as I have no target. Anyone know the syntax, if it is possible?
It exists only in our dreams, sadly.
The best you can do is give a torch to someone you don't like and send them in first.
I am 99.99% sure it isn't currently possible... alas.

Good man.
Pretty much an idea that every player wants...You can find the suggestions on the first GDB in fact.
I've been suggesting this for almost ten years.
A man can dream.
>A simple bone torch is thrown in from the north.
>The wind carrying a simple bone torch causes it to go out!
Suddenly, the demand for glow crystals triples.
Yeah, now when i think about it, it not realistic for it come down in one piece or a working piece.
Sure it is, sometimes. It'll randomly go out when thrown just like it does when you hold it in a storm.
Also dis.
>l n
To the north is darkness.
>light arrow
>shoot arrow north
> l n
[Near]
A faint shape is standing here.

You are Mike
Keywords: athletic brown-haired man Mike
Objective: Hide in rooms and be nice to people.
This area is enveloped in darkness.
A flaming, chitin-tipped arrow flies in from the south, striking the ground.
A flaming, chitin-arrow flies in from the south and strikes your body, lighting you on fire!
think freakin not again!!
Yeah, I'm a dork.
This is a very good idea. Though, I remember reading once that there might be some code limitations and that is why this has never been implemented? Something in regards to the current source that the game was built with.
