Title: Analyzing Items
Post by: Silent Bob on August 29, 2003, 10:14:30 PM
I was hoping maybe the crafter could tell how good something was like with a compare command.  If I was a weapon smith should I not be able to realize this weapon is sharper or does more damage than that weapon?  If I was an armourcrafter maybe I would realize this is better protection against a slash as compared to that?  It seems as if only real combat tells you things like that but would not the makers have a clue as to which is better?

Aren't you, like, supposed to have one line per movie or something?

Anyway, that's part of the wonderful allure of playing Arm.  Someone once put it that you start to get ahead of the 'learning curve' some ~5yrs down the road, heh.   No, there's really nothing short of personal preference, common sense and 'ooc' experience that I know of.
