I'm wondering where most of our playerbase is from. I'm from U.S., New York. Are most of our people from the U.S.?

We have many players from around the world, actually. There is a lot of us from the U.S. though. Check out the 'Gatherings' forum some time :)

San Francisco, California. That should explain why so many of you think I am irritating. Rich people in SF are smug and self-righteous, poor people here are whiny and prone to crime or benefits dependency. There are only horridly overpaid jobs and horridly low paying jobs around here. Since I'm a poor person who has been working all my life to educate myself and get a good job around here, I am simultaneously whiny and smug, and therefore extremely annoying.

Don't smoke.
But, sure, if you want to look at it that way.
California cost of living is insane. Was only here temporarily, anyways. Colorado seems like a logical move since it's closer to family/friends/etc. Cost of living is literally 60% less then what it is in an reasonable area within California. Hourly wages for the type of work I do is about $12 in California and it's about $9.50 in Colorado - But with my experience, I'll probably apply for a higher position after my move so I'll start off (hopefully) at maybe $11 hourly. A dollar less in hourly wages but I will be paying $500-$650 for an apartment in a decent area versus the $1500-$1750 for the same-sized apartment in an equally decent area of CA.

FYI Vermont just decriminalized possession of up to an ounce of pot. You can still be fined (up to $300) but it's like a parking ticket. Next step: full legalization.
I think if I were to move to Colorado, I'd like to live somewhere with some good skiing facilities nearby. Learn to ski much better than I already can, and maybe eventually get a job as an instructor for people other instructors decide are "hopeless and wasting their time", as the instructor who tried teaching me the basics seemed to think of me.
Seriously, had to teach myself. That woman couldn't communicate with me for some reason. Used all the wrong words. I fell down a lot.
