That's right, my collection of color triggers for MUSHclient have now found a (hopefully) permanent home! You can download them here:
http://armageddon.gouletonline.com/color_triggers.zip (http://armageddon.gouletonline.com/color_triggers.zip)
For those of you who don't know what these do, they color the following for you:
- Says/Talks/Sings/Etc.
- Whispers
- Way Messages
- Thinks
- Feels
- Room Title & Auotexits [N S E W U D Leave Quit Save]
The default colors are just the ones that I prefer, but you can color/style the text in any way you please by tweaking the trigger settings. If you need any help, hit me up!
Aha! This sorts out my headache.
Aha! My mantis head now has ablue mouth...he almost looks Imperial tropperish.

Never even noticed that. :o
Aaron. I <3 you so hard!
I like these..however, if you could tell me how to make the combat messages a different color, like they are regularly in the mud, that would be awesome. I'm sadly trigger ignorant.
I am trignorant too.
I'm working on a set of colour triggers for combat. I'll post them here when I've worked them out properly.
How do you 'install' this?
Thanks~~~! Super great to have.
A way I did it was:
File > Import > (locate the file) and ok.
Dunno if that's the official way or not.
My question is, when I imported it, most show up fine, except Think, say, shout, and I assume whisper. .
If I go, "say Boy oh boy"
All I see is "You say:" and none of the actual words. It's not white or some other invisible text, attempts to highlight shows the actual words was not returned at all. Basically anything that should come after ":" is gone.
Nevermind, had to modify (.*) to fit my other settings. Thanks!

Go into your triggers menu -> Load-> then find where you saved the file.
Any luck yet Kol?
Not yet bud, I'm still new to this so, it's going to take a while. I'm trying to fir this is in around several other projects.
That's cool. I should probably find some spare time and actually look at it, see if I can figure it out myself. :p
I'd do some combat triggers as well, but I haven't played a combat PC in a while, and thus don't have any combat messages to base the regex patterns off of. If someone can get several examples of combat messages to me (without violating OOC info rules), I'd be happy to add more color to the collection. :)
Heh, I was going to jump on TS3 and see if you were on so I could ask you to walk me through coding triggers..
Hold up, Lemme see if your on there, and we can talk summat out.
Morrigan, after careful evaluation, it's probably going to take a week or two to get these firing right, every time, keep checking back regularly, I have an idea for a project, but I need to PM some people with Savvy.
Awesome, glad you're working on it. :)
Aaron! What's that file called again?? I have to reinstall it.
I wonder what this would do in combination with my set of 'color' triggers, which serve a different purpose? ???
Edit: Also, appears you're no longer hosting the zip file, Aaron. I'd like to download and try to make it compatible with my set of triggers that highlights color words. Thank you!
I used to have it before I downloaded that other color trigger thing, so I should have it somewhere on my lappy, just can't remember what the file name is.
The community is free to have my MUSHclient world file (http://www.mediafire.com/?jtm7510mczjayql) with my color triggers and a few aliases, since Aaron's has disappeared. It's not perfect, but I've used it without any serious modifications for about 5 years. It's based off of spawnloser's old world file he shared a few years back. If anyone has issues with it or needs help modifying it, I'll help out, but what's provided should be enough to learn from.
Let's try that. How to install this?

It's ready to go. Stick it in a folder on your computer (Like C:\Program Files\Mushclient\worlds) and open it with MUSHclient.
Bumping this. I'm trying to reinstall this script (which I have on an external hard drive) but no dice.
I keep getting the message:
Line 7: No plugin found (Cannot load)
Do you have it saved as a .mcl or .xml?
You want to use the .xml file.
It tells me it can't be found.
Yeah it was a trigger script. Fixed now!

You want the one linked above. Should still work.
Is there anywhere I can read up on how to add extra triggers that will show up on top of other triggers? Like... what if I want the word bloodied to show as red if my equipment is bloodied?

I'm guessing I don't work this in like a normal trigger? I don't see where to input that script.

If you select all that text and 'copy' it, you can 'paste' it into your triggers via the paste button in the triggers menu.

It isn't overriding the pink already on it from whatever trigger makes your equipment list pink when you do eq. I used the trigger set from the link above.
Trying this out already. After a few minor adjustments, it seems to be pretty damn decent. Set text size to 11 and font to comic sans.
