Title: Spicing Ale
Post by: Recharge on May 25, 2011, 07:24:19 PM
Dunno if its been suggested before but, what about spicing your own drinks?
Say if you had a pinch (or more) crumble it down into that bottle of Flame or a shot of whatever.
Perhaps have weakened effects when a small amount is mixed with a large drink.

Awesome idea!

Of course if you can't wait for a code change ... you could just RP it and sniff/drink accordingly.

I'm going to have a REAL hard time not doing this in RP already. Secretly hiding my mug away in 'Nak, doing "something" to it, and then snorting a pinch of spice.

That is, until someone comes along, sees the word "spice" and rats me out to the RP Po... er... Templars.

Except I think there's a bit in the spice docs that wouldn't make it fly so well...

/partypooping

I might well be wrong.

It's either in Kurac's docs or in one of their clan GDB threads.

I'm not sure how much more I can say, even though it should probably be in some public docs on spice, to aid ropeplay.

Edit to add: And roleplay.

I never wished harder for a more comprehensive brew/poison/alchemy/substance-mixing code than when I was playing a character with a habit of slamming boilermakers in the Gaj and Tooth.

Ah, the maddeningly undocumented nature of spice continues.

Yup. There are bits I agree should be public.

Though you could play in Kurac, it's all there.

Spiced food, the way they did in the book Dune if you ever read it. They had some sort of delectable french-style roasted bird that was cooked with spice. It makes me hungry.

The way they described Melange as smelling like cinnamon-- I couldn't help but think of Snickerdoodles. :3

Reaching for a sack of flour, spice pouch while breathing in the cinnamon smelling flowers " These cookies are going to be a great hit at the party!"
