From my understanding (please correct me if I am wrong) traditional Scottish kilts were ALL that was worn to cover the lower torso of the wearer (i.e. no skimpies). That being said, my character is toting a fine kilt of a light cut. This made me wonder....
What about all that sand in nether-region? That must SUCK terribly, as well as ITCH to high heaven. I can't imagine.... Unless, as with other modes of Zalanthan fashion, they have been totally adapted to the harsh climes of the planet?
Opinions?

Loinclothes help, too. Having grit in your nethers does give for entertaining RP, by the by.
Also. Kilts in Arm aren't exactly the same as the Scot's tartan. Their look is a bit different as is their wear-style.
You're all calloused now. Can't even feel it. No sensation any more. Sandblasted away.
I don't see sand being a problem....nothing to hold it up there.

Sweat...I don't see a lot of bathing happening. :-\
Several kilts are described with having "protective" coverings built in.

On Zalanthas most sweat would evaporate instantly and cool you easier, because there is no humidity. The extra air-flow of a kilt would also keep things dry.
