Title: Not an important code change - but one I would love
Post by: watersprite on September 28, 2009, 06:46:05 AM
Would be to edit biography via the web while at the same time logged in with my character.

While I, like others, enjoy using the web interface for my biographies it's when I'm in game that I get inspired to write those biography entries and don't really want to log out to do so and don't wish to use the in-game tool.

I wonder if this would be difficult to do?

It would require a more complicated locking system than we currently have, otherwise changes from your in-game self would overwrite your web changes.

This is something we are fixing for Arm 2.

I'd say put your entry into a word document. Then put it into your bio. This is so you have the benefit of a grammer and spell check.

Especially spell check.
