TULUK - The Sun King's Ivory City
Welcome to Tuluk, a great place located in the north of the Known World. Surrounded by protective walls able to withstand giant bugs as well as most fires, the city offers a hospitable and welcoming environment to curious visitors and weary travellers. The city-state of Tuluk has rich traditions and abounds with high class culture and art of every possible form. Accomodations come in every form, ranging from cheap sleeping lofts to luxurious Nenyuk apartments.
Tuluk is an ancient metropolis and as such it has strong historical ties, but is also a city in change and renewal -- guided towards the future by the Sun King's Light. For the architecturally interested visitor, the carefully planned street grid as well as the newly restored theater and the surrounding bardic Circle may be appreciated sights. For any visitor regardless of interest, the Pyramid is a must see - and frankly, it is hard to miss.
For the more adventurous among visitors, the lush, harmonius region of Gol Krathu surrounds the city-state and it is inhabited by a variety of wondrous creatures. However, a word of caution to travellers; halflings have sharp teeth and should not be approached. Those looking to buy a souvenir to show people back home will be pleased to find that the major Merchant Houses all have a wide array of shops in the city. Should you seek something more exotic, there is always the tribal markets.
We are proud to announce that there will be a city wide RPT in Tuluk, taking place on August 14 & 15.
Reserve your tickets now -- one free disappearance included with every sale! Group and family discounts available through your local Faithful.

The flaming, disc-shaped man has arrived from above.
The flaming, disc-shaped man begins a song and dance routine.
This starts in less than two hours.
Kudos to all the performers. Good stuff.
Wonderful experience all around... kudos to all involved.
< ---------------------- Thats a guy proud to be Tuluki.
*Tuluki fanboi scream*
And it's not even done yet!
Praise the Sun King, bitches.
That was so... spammy. Nice... but spammy.
You may have noticed that (from the spectator's position) you couldn't see the strikes from the participants of Descending Sun. This was not intentional. We're working on fixing this in the script as we speak.
(No, it's not a MUSH game, if that is what you were wondering!)
I thought everything was absolutely awesome, except for:

Every time this thing's sdesc (travelmug) , I wanted to cringe.... right up there with monocles, spectacles, sandwiches potatoes chips and all those type things that are no longer in game.
Kudos to everyone who made this RPT interesting in their own special ways.

ROFL!
The tiny flags, too, though they
werereally cool.
And I guessed his sdesc. I have no way to prove it, but I wrote it down a few weeks ago.
I wanted an oversized, red and white foam finger. :(
Kudos to all involved, and a tremendous thanks for the Euro-friendly schedule.
That was.... cooler than hell. (Not that that's hard to do, but still, despite all the screen-roll it was great.)

Sandwiches are still IG. They're just called Rukkians, so seeing them in Tuluk is rather difficult...
Oh, wait..Food. In that case, I'm still right. They're still in, and in fact, I think there's a couple you can codedly cook.
On topic, the events were great. Kudos to everyone, from players to staff; to me at least, it felt like a real Tuluki cultural event.
Thank you everyone who attended, and everyone who worked so hard to make this possible. I hope all of you had a good time, one way or the other.
