Title: Request Tool - When to use it and when to Email Mud!
Post by: Incognito on August 31, 2007, 03:38:39 PM
The mud mail is checked by a single person (at a given time).

The request tool is accessed by multiple staff members and as such - gets reviewed at a much faster pace.

If you need to contact a staff member for something generic, you will get your request reviewed much faster via the request tool.

If you need to contact a staff member for something clan related, you're best off emailing your clan email ID, with CCs to specific staff email IDs (if they prefer it).

(I might add that now, when you email a clan email ID - like desertelves@armageddon.org, for example, it is automatically CC'ed to Mud account as well - so you dont need to manually CC it!)

Mud mail is more for special apps, CCing the mud on issues etc.

Just a small announcement in the interest of all players and staff members.

Special apps should go through the request tool.
