Why can't you put stuff into dead body containers? I think it would be neat if you could leave stuff in dead bodies. Or dress dead bodies. Or smuggle stuff in dead bodies. Bodies should definitely be huge containers, porportionate to how big the character was. I don't really see how this could be abusive.
Ironically, I did that. Had to put stuff in while they were living, then kill them, and then emote out stuffing the things inside the corpses. Meh.
