Title: Don't bother him, he's sleeping.
Post by: Cale_Knight on October 04, 2006, 01:34:47 PM
Can we please get rid of this? It's silly. If I'm talking to a sleeping person, it's usually not for his benefit anyway, but my own or the benefit of those around me.

Why should the code be able to prevent me from talking at someone just because their eyes are closed?

Agreed. I mean, it's no HUGE deal since you can say (to ~sleeper) or whatever... But still.

I entirely agree with the sentiment expressed by the original poster.

Besides, how do we really know they're sleeping, eh?

Good point. It isn't really necessary for you to get the echo or for it to prevent you from talking to them anyway even if they cannot hear you.

Not to mention it's impossible to "fake" being asleep when someone talking to you will verify whether you're codedly asleep or not.
