Hello all.
I was just wondering, who would find this useful:
When you want to change your email, you have to retype it to confirm.
Because what just happened to me, is that I went to change my email on my account, but I made a typo, so now my new password was sent to a non-existent email.
What do you guys think?
Think it would be useful?
I think it would be. I would use the request tool and request it.
www.armageddon.org/request
I'll certainly do that then! :)
EDIT: Heh, oh, wait, I can't login to request, I dont have my password
Mail mud@armageddon.org and include your account name to get your email changed and password reset.
I did as soon as I made the mistake, which was yesterday, so I'm just waiting now.
How long do replies usually take for this sorta thing?
Depends who's turn it is reading mud mail. Sometimes a few days.
the same thing happend to me a few days ago, and I had to wait for more than 24 hours before a Mogenes chaneged it (thanks :D ). I tell you had it been 2 days, I would have been dead now, but I was lucky that I only had to go thorugh the freak-out-period (another arm-addicted).
it would be nice if it asked you to confirm your e-mail

Exactly :D
And then, of course, there's the dreaded check-my-email-every-10-minutes phase.
