omgomgomgomgomg!!!
This is so huge! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
Nosave (Combat)
The nosave command allows you to control whether your character will
attempt or refuse saving throws you are entitled to for a number of
different options.
Syntax:
nosave [status|off|all|<option>]
Options:
arrest Use this option to willingly surrender to soldiers of the city
you are in. You will be automatically subdued if one tries to
subdue you. Resisting arrest (by trying to break free) will
turn off this option automatically, and possibly irritate
soldiers, bringing bad consequences on yourself.
climb This will cause you to fail all climbing checks.
magic Your character will not resist any magick spells cast at you.
This can be beneficial if the spell is beneficial and you don't
want to cast off it's effect.
psionics Your character will not resist any psionic ability used on you.
skills Your character will not resist any mundane skills used on you.
This includes skills such as kick & bash.
subdue Your character will not resist being subdued, and no criminal
charges will be levied against someone trying to subdue you.
Note that if you are unconscious, this is automatic.
theft Your character will not try and stop or detect theft. This can
be beneficial in the case where someone is roleplaying stripping
you down when you are unconscious.
Notes:
Typing nosave by itself will show you your current status. You can also
type 'nosave status' to get your current status.
To turn all options on, type 'nosave all'.
To turn all options off, type 'nosave off'.

Indeed, KUDOS!!!!
My shady folks will like this ALOT. Not to mention just about anyone else in the entire game.
Yea, was wondering where the thread on that one was.... :)
Loooooove it, even if I've never had anything bad happen because of those - now I know that I never will :D
Soooooooooooooooooooooo good!
Answered Mudding prayers, woot! :D
MORGENES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THE SAVIOR OF ARMAGEDDONMUD![/color]
NOSAVE FOREVER!
I just wet myself, brb
Have my babies!
No really, here, have them.
Fuck. Yeah.
This is way too much work for me.
Aww, this sucks!
Quote from: "A human Allanaki soldier"Aww, this sucks!
Way to make me choke on a chicken strip you pig.
Anybody notice this?
Quote from: "nosave subdue"Your character will not resist being subdued, and no criminal
charges will be levied against someone trying to subdue you.
Note that if you are unconscious, this is automatic.
So now dragging your poor, passed-out drunken buddy home is no longer a crime worthy of a summary execution. Nice.
This is awesome in every fashion.
Thank you, yet again, Morgenes.

This is a really cool improvement, thanks.
Resolving so many issues with changes to only one command...
Now that's a Coder.
Honestly, this looks to be a great change to the game, though I shy away from calling anyone the "Savior" of Armageddon, really... that implies it's in some sort of trouble to begin with.

The dingy, dirty elf says, ooc:
"Let me go, I had nosave templar on!"
Lord Templar Hard Nose says, ooc:
"Pretty sure it doesn't apply to me. One way to find out."
Welcome to Armageddon!
I have a question.
If you have nosave arrest on and nosave subdue off, are you still resisting the subdue of the soldiers?
As already quoted from 'help nosave':
arrest Use this option to willingly surrender to soldiers of the city
you are in. You will be automatically subdued if one tries to
subdue you. Resisting arrest (by trying to break free) will
turn off this option automatically, and possibly irritate
soldiers, bringing bad consequences on yourself.
So, to clarify. Nosave subdue makes you not struggle against any subdue (soldier or not). Nosave arrest makes you not struggle against subdues only from soldiers.
8) yet again I must admit that Mogenes ROXER!!!
Ahem....
FUCKING SWEET!!!
8)
Yes, I put this on par with the watch command.
Something that has been asked for.. for...better then 8 years same as watch was, Finally in game W00T!
I almost choked on my tongue when I saw that Morgenes had done this. Seriously, sweetness. Morgenes, you are the god of coding!

I believe it has been like that for a while now (the automatic part). I say that because I did it not too long ago ;) Although it's possible the person saw me OOCing asking if I'd be arrested and put nosave on.
Regardless, VERY COOL. Now my "would never break the law" chars can perpetually walk around with nosave arrest on. On the one hand, I'd be fairly surprised if a soldier randomly came up to me and tried to subdue me, and yeah, I would struggle. But that struggle would stop after 2 seconds, except the soldier doesn't stop trying to kill me after 2 seconds no matter what I do :P

The part that is new is the 'if you are unconscious' part. Nosave has allowed crim-free subdue, now it's also crim free if you're unconscious (whether or not nosave subdue is on)
It is highly recommended for all merchants and people who do not fight to have nosave arrest on, for when you forget about _blah_ and get wanted and autoganked for your merchant.
