Title: New Idea
Post by: Desertman on May 04, 2006, 10:34:11 AM
I had a new idea...A simple one really that I am surprised isnt already implemented. The ability to change the ldesc of a mount that is hitched to you. I can think of alot of times I would have liked to have been able to change my mounts ldesc.

change kank's ldesc is here curled up among some scrub.

A yellow kank is here curled up among some scrub.

change ldesc is here leaning against a yellow kank in some scrub.

The blue-eyed man is here leaning against a yellow kank in some scrub.

Just one more small addition to make the game a bit more fleshed out.

I've put this in through the idea command before a while back so, of course I'm down.
*thumbs up*

Just control the kank's mind and order it to change ldesc...

:)

I believe this may be good for a few instances.

I don't believe kanks can actually curl up as stated.. but sure, I guess it wouldn't make it any worse.

What do you mean they cant curl up ? They curl up when you order them to rest.

Who uses kanks? I can't envision them curling up like a horse or other commonly known animal.

i think I'm going to make a dwarf sometime with the focus of genociding kanks.

that will fix them.

In other news, I can't imagine them actually "curling" up, so much as settling down on their bellies.

Making kanks gettable would be another solution.

"Get kank. Drop kank curled up on the ground."

Oh wait, they are gettable.

"kill kank. Get kank. Drop kank curled up on the ground." ;)

I'm just being silly :P Cool addition, but a fairly small one.
