Title: Multiple-Keyword Counting
Post by: Larrath on November 21, 2005, 03:51:48 PM
It would be very, very nice if we were able to do this:

> look in crate
The big bad crate contains:
a few of sharp red leaves
many sharp red templar robes
several blue templar robes
several sharp, blue-trimmed leaves

> count red templar in crate
There are 25 'red templars' in the big bad crate.

> count leaf !trimmed in crate
Excluding 'trimmed', there are 4 'leafs' in the big bad crate.

Agree with me.

Oh.  Yes.

It is annoying!

Use *nix commands, with a twist.

>look in crate
The crate contains:
A few frilly red things
Many sharp red leaves
Many frilly red leaves

count +red -sharp -leaf bin

Excluding 'sharp' and 'leaf', there are 5 'reds' in a crate.

I think if you're in a room that has a bunch of templar robes being kept in a big bad crate, the least of your worries is whether you can easily count them or not.
