I was just thinking it'd be nice to be able to renew the rent on your apartments at the Nenyuk bank. If you're responsible for payments on apartments scattered across the Known World, it can be sort of a hassle to take a special trip just to pay rent.. and since it's all handled by the same entity, why not?
I was thinking you could "list" at the bank to get a list of your current apartments and how many days are left. Then rent renew #02 or whatever one is needing to have some money thrown at it. The money could be taken out of anything in your inventory or straight from your bank funds. Thoughts?
I think that would be awesome...
...but I think there would be a surcharge attached to it. How about 300 'sid? Or maybe just double the rent owed.

They aren't all handled by the same entity in some parts of the world.
A clever Nenyuki PC would probably get promoted to House Ultraoverlord if he came up with a system to make this work in-game.

Yeah, I had a huge-ass footlocker taken from an apartment once. I hope it was stolen by one of my neighbors. Sneaking it past the guard might have been kinda twinky.

Solution: buy furniture so heavy that you have to hire two half-giants to move it in for you.
Both housing and banking are virtually run by House Nenyuk.
However, they are run by different divisions of the house and each division has numerous agents in each city, etc. Not to mention housing turnover is pretty high, so do you really expect that Nenyuk keeps a list of all current renters of all buildings in the entire city, in the bank? In addition to all the paperwork they must have to keep about your bank balance?
Besides, having to carry the money from the bank to the apartment opens up opportunities for the sid to get stolen en route. And we're all about roleplay opportunities, right?
