If you're watching a direction, I think it would be a good idea to be able to see what comes into view as you're moving towards the direction you're watching.
>watch north
You begin watching the north exit.
>n
An armored bahamet has come into view to the north.
A room [NESW]
This room is boring.
It continues in all directions.
>l n
[Very far]
An enormous shelled creature tramples the grasses.
[Far]
Nothing.
[Near]
Nothing.
>think Good thing I was looking out for that.
You think:
"Good thing I was looking out for that."
Thoughts?
I like it.
now we can see that we are about to kill ourselves though! That would make the staff not happy :). J/k. I like it
That's actually not too bad an idea.
I like it.
I like it.
I like it.
I like it, but you could just 'look north'.
Quote from: "Delirium"I like it, but you could just 'look north'.
I'm lazy? Best response I could think of there.
I like lazy
I like it.
An A+ on realistic value!
I detest the idea of not liking it.
So, I like it.
I dislike it completely because well it isn't even slightly close to umm..
Shit can't think of an excuse I like it.
I like it, though it sounds like it would be a bitch to code in a way that wouldn't drain resources.
This must be a really good idea. Nobody has started arguing!
I like it too.
I can't say that it is a bad idea, though, one that if it was put in, I'd probly never use, hard enough to keep track of things when your moving about outside, alone or in a group without that large amount of added spam.
Good idea.
While it's a decent idea, you can get almost the exact same functionality with the new non-delayed look command:
> n
> l n (but don't hit enter until you arrive in the next room)
