Hi,

I was wondering wether a half giant with his score saying very good strength is actually equally strong as an elf with his score saying very good strength, or if that is meant in proportion to the particular race.

It is in proportion.

...it is in proportion to your RACE.  In other words, a half-giant with "poor" strength is still much stronger overall than an elf with "good" strength.
