I just wanted to say that the farming villlage outside of Allanak that has been fleshed out is fucking awsome. Your very well thanked and which ever Immortal(s) took place in that deserve a serious round of applause.


Some thoughts on the area:

Perhaps it could be made to be another starting point with an accent all of its own - village-accented sirihish. This would help make characters that are said to be born within the outside villages just a bit more believable.. :) Just my thoughts.

Since this got dragged back up...

I think it'd be a bit too much work.  If you want to 'start' in the farming village, point to Allanak and then move out to the village.  As far as this 'village-accented sirihish' goes, please, no thanks.  I don't want to see a bajillion accents come in unless they are actually going to completely overhaul the accent code, as it would just be more work to improve it down the road later.

The village-accented sirihish is a decent idea, I guess, but I don't see much need for it.  Someone talking like Tony Blair or cockneyed is just going to sound English to a lot of people who aren't from that country, they probably don't know enough about England to differentiate regions between the two.

Why are the village people going to have different accents now? Have you noticed their poximity to Allanak? Do you not think that regular and steady trade goes back and forth from the village to Allanak and back? Sorry, I don't buy it. Those village people may be freaks, but they don't get to develope their own accents.
