Armageddon isn't connecting for some reason on my computer, it says:
%%% Performing Asynch DNS lookup on ginka.armageddon.org
%%% Connecting to 64.252.79.51 on port 4050
%%% Connected to ginka.armageddon.org on port 4050.
And then it just stops....
Is this happening to anyone else?

Seems so.. At least a few of us are with you.
Aparently it is happening to everyone. You are attching to the site correctly, just no game running behind it at the moment. I'm sure (I hope) They are working on it
Yah, I managed to connect for about two minutes, before everything froze, and it has been frozen ever since.

It's almost been 24 hours since I played! I didn't have the
shakes -this- bad when I kicked my nasty little krak habit!
Welcome to CRACKAGEDDON!
Disclaimer: gofmk has -never- done krak.
It has been said that Arm's back up, but mine isn't. Hopefully it's not my problem, just the game's.
It's up and down.. here and there... the second time was longer than the first! ;)
Yay! maybe after it boots up 1000 times it will be good to go!
so what is this "new code"?
I don't know, it better be good though

SYSTEM: Once again, my apologies for the instability tonight. Still working out some kinks in new code which should (long term) make the game quite a bit more stable.

yer being sarcastic right?
Yeah, of course
If the stability fixes work as I hope they will (once the new bugs get shaken out), you won't notice them at all. So, overall, probably not that good. :)

Except the mud will crash even less as a result right? Or certain code bugs will no longer be present? Otherwise I don't get the point
John, whose a tad confused

Right, but the net result will be something you won't notice, in the long term.
