Title: Stopping a sparring match.
Post by: cyberpatrol_735 on September 16, 2004, 05:50:08 PM
I was thinking, and the current way to stop a match when you are sparring is to flee. Perhaps we could have a SPAR command where you type SPAR <person> to initiate the fight, and when you wish to end it, type STOP or something like that to stop the fight and say that you surrender or say break! or something like that.

It would be better than "Someone runs north!" But would only work when you typed spar.

But then how do you twink out the flee skill?

Real answer:

1. This has been discussed before. Use the search feature at the top of the page.

2. Yes, this is a good idea, and it could be coded, but there's a BUNCH of shit that needs coding. So this would be very low priority considering there's a system in place already that works, but just merely doesn't work perfectly.

3.  Just ignore the "runs north" and emote stepping out of the sparring circle. For instance:

flee
walk
south
emote steps out of the sparring circle, lowering his weapons.

4. Thank you, have a great day.
