Just a random idea:
On the clear nights where you can see without a torch, it might be interesting if people in OTHER rooms looked to you like: the (tall,short,thick,whatever) figure within the darkness is here
I had this idea the other day when I was driving, no clouds in the sky, and it was as clear and bright as ever, however a league away, people would only look like dark figures.
Just a thought.

As long as it's only one room of sight (maybe 2 in the city) I could get behind it.
