Title: taste and smell
Post by: darksheep on February 12, 2004, 08:01:07 PM
Would it be possible to code food items to have a taste and smell when eatten? They wouldn't describe whether they taste good or bad, but rather what the flavor is like (sour, sweet, ect...) I know this can be RPed out, but I just think it would be neat for poorly made food to taste charred or undercooked.

Instead of EAT meat, try TASTE meat

Instead of DRINK ale, try SIP Ale.

Any that you come across that do not have a taste try

Idea meat (what you think it would taste like)

And if it's a good idea, one day that meat will taste the way you wrote it :)

I believe I've seen a message like that when I ate (not tasted) a ginka pie.

This certainly exists for some food;  even if actively updating all foodstuffs, with the amount of consumables in the database, will be a while before you see it for all goodies I'm sure.
