Title: Water and Oases
Post by: jcljules on June 24, 2008, 08:49:39 AM
Tuluk and Allanak are major cities with quite a few people... where does the water come from to quench the thirst of these masses? Of course I know that water is scarce in Zalanthas, but it has to come from somewhere. Underground? Oases? Pools of water that are guarded by the sorcerer kings? Vivaduan magick?

And Oases too; would these be extremely uncommon? Would it be farfetched to create a character from a small oasis village?

This has come up a few times. You can search it out if you like.

You'll pretty much have to find out IC.

I think most Zalanthans would know if there were Oases in the desert, and if they were common, without having to see them.

No. They wouldn't.

Most Zalanthans have never set foot in the desert, buddy.

This is something you would have to find out in-character.
