There were tons of scholarly articles in the early to mid nineties about MUDs and their social dynamics. It's kind of sad to think about, since the genre as a whole is in a slow, spiraling death plunge.

Killers says things like:

"Die!"
"Die! Die! Die!"

(Killers are people of few words).

You can tell the article is old, because now it's: "D13 J0U N00B!!!!"
