Hi roobee,

How long you stay unconscious depends on several factors, but sometimes it can be quite a while (sometimes 20-30 minutes).

For the most part, you have to be connected for the timer to wear off.

Hey Roobee! Welcome to Arm!

Shouldn't be any more than 5-10 minutes, depending on several factors. However, in future, New Player Questions would be the place for this type of question

PS. Gimmie your boots.

Now you pray.
You pray long and hard that you don't wake up nekkid.

Or that you do wake up nekkid?

Generally, unless you get poisoned with something crazy, it should only last for about 5 minutes. If you read the helpfiles on certain poisons, it mentions inducing potential short-or-longterm coma's (heramide/grishen).

Yeah. I'll just take a leap and assume that you used Way powers too much, so you should be up by now.

It is important to note that if you disconnect without quitting, you will lose link, and your character will still exist and be injured/messed with without your knowledge.

Actually, if you're unconscious from being super drunk it could take a long time. I've had characters that took 30-45 minutes to regain consciousness from alcohol poisoning.... But that was extreme drunkenness too.

Heh heh, always wanted to do this with a HG, then watch as people tried to move him from the bar. XD

I've never seen this happen. The time is the same for alcohol knockout and stun knockout in my experience.

Alcohol-induced blackout certainly seems longer, but that may be because whenever I do it I'm in a setting where I'm particularly anxious to get back in to the action.

30-45 minutes would be sort of absurd. That's as bad as the jail timers.

With one particular character I had that used to pass out from being drunk quite frequently Sometimes when he had passed out drunk I would go and take a shower (not a quick shower mind you, probably a 20 minute shower) and come back to find him still unconscious. So I know at times its longer than 20 minutes for alcohol. I guess it all depends on how drunk you are too... Most of the time he was as drunk as you could get without passing out before he chugged back the rest of his bottle and passed out.

How do you shower for 20 minutes? I get fidgety after like 3 minutes.

All of my showers are like 20 minutes.  I do my best thinking in there.

*shrugs* Maybe I'm a fish... or a merman... I don't know... I find showering to be relaxing. And its a good time to just think while letting warm water run over you.

Nudge nudge, wink, wink, say no more.

Say.  No.  More.

Water makes it too hard to think though. It's not exactly a lubricant, don't you know.

That's what body wash was made for.

Actually water is nature's most perfect lubricant. Only problem is the viscosity of it breaks down quickly.

I'm pretty sure oil is the best lubricant. There's a reason that they used a lot of olive oil in Ancient Greece.
