Stabbing, piercing and piercing_weapons skill

Do stabbing weapons still run off the piercing_weapons code? I remember they did at one time, but then there were some other skills added that might have changed that.

Anyone know for sure?

They still do.  I'm pretty sure.

Although I believe that there is a skill that isn't widely available, but will allow you to get better at stabbing weapons independently of your skill in piercing weapons.
