HRPT in Allanak: December 16th @ 8PM EST

Team Southlands would like to invite you to an evening of early holiday cheer and mayhem. This is a city-wide event, a highly recommended playing time, scheduled for:

It will run for 2-3 hours, or until there is a TPK in Allanak.


For those of you who are GMT+ time zone, we will be running animations throughout the week leading up to this HRPT to try and include you as well. I apologize for the incongruity of scheduling, and hope to include more of my GMT brethren in the next one.

Please note the "Starting Location" of the HRPT will be the Fale Falecium, located in the North East portion of Allanak. You should see 'Fale Banners' leading you there like a little mousey to cheese, starting from the 'Road of Commerce' near the Eastern Stables.

Message 46: [Sun Dec 17 18:35:17 2023] (Eurynomos) Chaos, Riots, Blood, Fire, and Lightning!

   A massive riot shook the streets of Allanak late in the year of
Suk-Krath's Agitation, year 21 of the 23rd age.  Bubbling and boiling for
several weeks, recent demonstrations in the Arena did little to abate the
people's hunger, desperation, and determination.  Crowds of people gathered
in Meleth's Circle, shouting and chanting 'Death to Tyrants!  ' among other
phrases that are now only repeated in whispers.  Strangely, many in this
crowd were armed with bottles filled with a liquid most foul and flamable,
setting fire to many tents and buildings throughout the bazaar and the city
at large. 
   The Fale Fete was a party unlike many in recent history, as beggars and
nobles lined up to drink their fill and hear one Lady Remondya Fale regale
her guests, pointing the finger at House Kadius for withholding food.  At
some point during her speech, a man in the audience lit one of these foul
smelling bottles and tossed it towards the Lady Fale, only for a Red Robed
Templar to intervene quite suddenly and dramatically.  The Red Robe, one
Great Lady Syskana Fale, chided the assembled beggardom for being unruly and
ungrateful, before commanding the Templarate and Soldiers present to 'cull'
those who resisted arrest and incited sedition. 
   Chaos broke loose -- The Great Lady cutting down dozens with bolts of
lightning, and others in the Templarate defending and cutting down rioters
as they attempted to burn down the Falecium and the nobles present.  House
Kadius was promptly stormed and nearly sacked, the Estate broken into, and
the rioters driven back by the Kadian Falcons and Arm of the Dragon.  Heaps
of broken and burned bodies have been piled into Meleth's Circle,
perpetually burning with the oils and substances in the bottles wielded by
the rioters.  The week was only capped off by a final announcement in the
Arena, by one Lord Templar Kahzik Tor, of arresting the ring leaders of the
food crisis and rioting.  In an epic battle to the death, the Lord Templar
himself stepped into the Arena and dealt the mortal blows to these traitors,
leaving their broken bodies on the Arena floor for all to see. 
   With fewer mouths to feed, the City Ministry has declared an 'end' to the
food crisis in Allanak.  Poor sentiments still bubble below the surface,
though people have seen what comes of treason and sedition, and how willing
the Templarate is to make examples of those that speak too loudly against
Tektolnes and His Servants.
