Seeking A Sergeant for the T'zai Byn Mercenary Company

This is an Allanaki Sergeant Role Call.

Coin. It always comes down to coin. Allanak is no stranger to those with none of it, and those who have a bit too much. You're somewhere in the middle, and always hungry for more.

Fresh from the sands and wearing the remnants of bloody battle, a group of mercenaries trudge back into a militarized compound led by a singular figure. The one that guides them, doles out punishments, and most importantly for this rag-tag collection of combat-hardened misfits, divvies up the coin at the end of a contract. That's all they see, but you know how much more comes with this position, the weight of responsibility.

No one cares how long you've had the stripes, not those seeking contracts or even the Captain. It's not an easy job, as you have to navigate the political landscape of any given settlement or city. You need to recruit for the Warband, damn near constantly. Train your Runners, and cultivate your Troopers. You have organize some prior-criminals, aspirants for future Great House servitude, or those with nothing left to lose into a fighting force to head out on dangerous and often technical jobs. Keeping the Lieutenant and Captain happy goes a long way too, and pissing them off usually comes with dire consequences... but keep the coin coming in, and they're usually alright. Then, in the Warband, you have to deal with other Sergeants bearing the same burdens and likely as short of temper as yourself.

What you, as the player, need to provide to fill this role: Your general playtimes so we can know when to expect you to be online. Your character's description, with guild and subguild. A brief background with an overview of the character concept you have in mind. Finally, some goals you have in mind that your character can pursue. As a sponsored role you will have support from Staff. No magickers, no psionicists, no kenkus, tregil or three jozhals stacked up in an aba.

I will leave this open until the position is filled.

This is closed.  For now...
