We are changing karma so that you no longer spend it, removing timers, and setting everyone's "current" karma to their max.  In other words, we are removing the entire karma timer system, going back to a system where once you have that level, you can play characters of those race/class/subclass all you want.  However, if someone plays the same thing back to back to back, we may ask them to not do that on a case-by-case basis.  If you play Tim the dwarven Krathi who dies, then play Jim the dwarven Krathi, we'll have a chat.  But if you play Time the dwarven Krathi who dies, and then play Amos the elven whiran in a different area, that's fine.

We're aware of the arguments against it, that it could potentially increase how many magickers or muls or whatever are out there.  But we feel there is more to be gained that make these risks worth it.

We reserve the right to undo this change in the future if we think it's caused more harm than good.

Note:  Psionicists and Sorcerers are still spec app only

Some people will not have the proper options on their account.  Due to the way all accounts were set to their max karma, options may have been missed.  If you have karma and are missing an option, just open a request and we'll get it fixed, any staff can do it.
