It has not.  You guys have some more time til you can write about him.

edit:  I moved the posts to moderation, so when that time does come I can send you the text (or do that now) if you need it.

Derp.... Sorry about that. >~<

Certainly feels like it's been a year....

And thanks for the offer, but after hitting up the death email and seeing how long I've got, I'm gonna look over some logs and get some better stories to post when the time's right. x]

Well. I am sure Stick's year is up. Stick/Petro was fun.

He was a southerner with aspirations of being a merchant. He approached labyrinth not as a den of thieves, but as a market that needed a bit of investment to flower. And ... he succeeded. It was awesome. But he was soooooo not a rinthi. I still remember a scene, where he actually brought the entire guild to the orphanage, dragging bags of food with them and we all "donated" the food to all those kids. The matron is like ... here, "takes a dim-witted kid and throws him to one of the guildies" You can do whatever you want with him. And he was like, uhh ... no? That food is like umh ... what's the word? Free? Very unrinthi. Though I approached it with a pretty simple logic. If the kids grow up on the Guild's food, they want the guild to go on, with all that it entails.

Stick was a character who within his very first rl week of gameplay was assumed to be a psionicist by some and a sorceror by others. I think people were so used to non mundanes in the rinth, they assumed anyone who isnt twinking up their combat skills has to have some other types of skills.

There are also some fun non guild related stories about Stick, but some of it might still be going on in the game, so I wont talk about it. Overral, major thanks to many people who played in the labyrinth during those times. It was an awesome run.

This, however, has been a year:  rinthi bard turned byn sergeant, turned undertuluk management, turned high ranking rinth enforcer, turned tuluki murderer/mugger, turned salarri political brancher, turned an ankheg's snack.

Sue/Eight/Strings/Treg/Kashi.

Objective: to open a pastry/teashop.

Cause of death: Player boredom.

Lesson learned.

I once had a byn Sergeant, whom had at the time the strong PC group in game
underneath him. We decided to enter the table lands and [some IC stuff happened]. Long Story
short the events that happen led to the demise of that entire group of PCs, Several
northern and southern Templars, and various other pcs.

And we nearly killed the [huge IC badass of badassery].

Good times.

I think I remember you.  Or rather, Roach does.  It's been over a year, definitely.

I let a 50 day noble character die due to the psionicist messages he was receiving, resulting in him sitting down for a long period of time while being hunted instead of running away.

And they didn't even play with me when they caught me.  Sadface. :(

Really, a year? Huh. Doesn't seem like it.

*looks up logs from that time*

Hmm... Yeah, probably just past a year very recently.

Well played. :)

I loved Roach! Loved. He was one of the best things about my PC's life.
Varak:You tell the mangy, pointy-eared gortok, in sirihish: "What, girl? You say the sorceror-king has fallen down the well?"
Ghardoan:A pitiful voice rises from the well below, "I've fallen and I can't get up..."

I picked up some loose ends with my paranoid dwarf, Baz when Stick vanished and assassinated a big fancy gemmer for a lucrative payout.

I also got a player complaint about the hit, which says to me I did it right.  But who knows, maybe I should have given the magicker a chance to finish my character in a single spell.

That was my first guild experience and it was mass fun.  Big props to Stick and Loudmouth and Roach and that other guy that apparently hasn't been dead for a year yet.

Baz was easily one of my favorites.... The twitchy little bastard. x]

On my account notes for my last 40+ days played character, I have a note (from Olgaris, I bet) about poop. My character wasn't a dung-grebber or anything like that, either.

:-\I want to post it.

Finally! One I was there for!

I wish I still had the log. The way Kashi went out freaked the hell out of me, both IC and OOC.

As short-lived as she was, not many people probably remember her, but I played Torch up in Tuluk, about a year and a quarter ago. Good times. :)

Except me. I remember every death. And I am coming for you bastards.

My character was dead within hours, it wasn't even a full day yet! Haha.
Veni, vinci, voici.

I'm okay on my own.

Do you guys all remember that dwarf who fought Paryl in the arena? With like war-axes and was totally landing heavy blows on him? Yeah that was me, 1 hour played baby. But then Paryl knocked away his weapons and well.. GG.

Dusty Plains [NESW]
Strong winds, the prevailing force in this area, billow up red dust that
settles onto everything in sight. The ground is mottled with clumps of red
dirt, which the winds scatter about endlessly. According to legend, it was
just centuries ago that this land supported surprisingly abundant flora and
fauna. Today, only a few thorny plants, growing in tiny crevices, remain.
A dusty stone bola lies here, its fist-sized stones held together by sinew.
A small-headed arrow with a shaft of agafari wood lies here.
A couple of bodies of a brick-red desert tarantula are here.
A ruined tent camp lies among the plains, half-buried in sand.
A brick-red, low-bodied tarantula lies close to the sands.
A brick-red, low-bodied tarantula lies close to the sands.
A large war beetle crawls about, struggling against its chitin harness.
- it is carrying a bahamet-embroidered leather backpack.
The very tall male wearing a dusty bone, black-painted hawk mask is standing here, bleeding profusely.
A brick-red desert tarantula is here, fighting you.
A brick-red desert tarantula is here, fighting you.
A large war beetle crawls about, struggling against its chitin harness.
- it is carrying a bone-studded backpack.
The tall and thin female wearing a dusty gauzy scarlet cotton veil lies on the ground stunned, unable to move.
A hooked-beak siltflyer lies here mortally wounded, on the verge of death.
A brick-red desert tarantula is here, fighting you.
A brick-red desert tarantula is sleeping here, bleeding profusely.
A war beetle is reclining here.
