Now you're ready to write that application. Here's what we expect from you as a player:

High playtimes. We need someone who regularly plays during evenings server time (PRIMETIME). You don't need to be on all the time, but you need to be consistent. Tell us your weekly average and typical playtimes.

Good or improving account notes. Everyone makes mistakes, can you learn from them?

Longevity. We want a player whose character will still be around in several months, not several weeks.

Patience. There will be highs and lows. You'll need to weather the storm.

A solid grasp of Allanak and its political landscape.

Good communication. You'll be expected to submit weekly character reports at first.

A complete understanding that you're portraying a realistic character in the world and not just a mob in a game.

Include the following in your role application request:

A: Think of a spiffy title.

B: Select the Arm of the Dragon. (If you don't, we may not see it)

C: Choose a Noble or GMH family in your complete background.

D: Tell us your planned character's personality and psyche.

E: Give us some example plots and goals.

F: Explain how you plan to handle criminals.

G: Describe how you'll use Allanak's gemmed PCs.

H: State your aspiring Ministry (City, Trade, or War).

I: Tell us your playtimes and if you're able to play in PRIMETIME (~ 7 pm - 11 pm EST/Server Time)

BE WARNED!!!  In many aspects, you will be a villain. At times, you may be required to hunt, capture, or kill your fellow PCs. You will walk the gray area (not grey like that filthy northern forest) between being too harsh and too lenient. Expect GDB vague posting about how some templars (i.e. you) are too [insert whining]. So, you'll need thick skin, Highborn arrogance, and a stiff glass of brandy to make it.

So once you're accepted, you'll get to peruse through a list of pre-approved spells and select one as an additional starting spell for FREE!

The idea is to help flesh out and enhance your character's background and interests. (And no, THAT spell is not on the list.)

Perhaps apply for both and tell us which is your first choice, but do it before midnight Friday, August 5th when this role call closes.
