Your challenge

Started by Gimfalisette, October 11, 2014, 08:57:46 PM

...should you choose to accept it:

Come play in a family with me in Tuluk. You saw that awesome role call? Yeah, you did. I think we can let staff know we'd prefer to be genetically bonded to each other. In accordance with the call, we've got to be humans, and grubby commoners who originate in the Warrens.

My criteria:

-- Play in my playtimes somewhat; I'm Pacific timezone, I play evenings on weekdays from about 6 to 10 pm, and variable on weekends.
-- Tuluki haters preferred! You haven't played in Tuluk for like 10 years but you're still prejudiced for no good reason? Let me change your mind.
-- Please be someone who can keep a character alive for a while. The whole point of playing family is to actually roleplay together!
-- No twinsies, no incest.
-- Send me a PM that makes me think you can roleplay decently (this is about spelling and grammar, guyz).

So come on, haters. Let's do this thing.

P.S. Yes, this is your chance to PK me. In Tuluk, no less.

I still think the best closure you get in Armageddon is just moving on to the next character.

No wincest? You've just doomed your family.

One finger is more than a woman would get from a typical Allanaki dude, amirite.

Or something. Trying to make city vs. city sex jokes is super-awkward.

Eugh. I'd be all over this if I wasn't alive and enjoying my character.

Gimf makes things fun, and not to put any pressure on her or anything, but when I last played with her it's like she ALWAYS had something you could be doing with her for fun in-game. She's great at involving others like that.

You guys are very sweet and I appreciate the kind words!

Good on you, Gimf. If anyone can reignite Tuluk, it's you.

Thanks, mof :)

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd this family role call is closed, we are at 4 members. HOWEVER, people, the call to form families in Tuluk is still open! Perhaps you will submit your apps, staff will form more families, and we'll have Warrens gang wars? Does that sound awesome or WHAT.

Glad to see you got this filled quickly, I have good faith you'll bring some awesomeness to Tuluk.  Good luck with the roles!

Damn, I couldn't get to the role. It's okay. We'll have a fivesome with the family later ;)

If you couldn't get on this family I encourage you to apply for our Warrener role-call anyway - either through making a new player announcement or just putting in as an individual - we'll try and link you up with another prospective player or two (or three) and get you in game.

I agree with Rath, put in the apps, because this is super-cool! He gave us a really neat family background that is going to be a blast to play out.

Come on, you know you guys wanna help make Tuluk be all gritty and plotty at the commoner level :)

The last family I played with was a drama nightmare (Rath even had to tell us to quit being retards at some point), I'll only consider this family role-call if Rath promises me that I'm allowed to murder my siblings if they end up getting on my nerves again  :P

In Zalanthas I'm pretty sure you're required to try to murder your siblings, assuming you are not actually in a tribal human or elf role.

I've played a family role once before and overall it was some of the richest character development I've ever experienced in the game. (Yes, it was also annoying sometimes, much like actual family :P ) My character once had to brutally beat one of her brothers up for her job. ZALANTHAN LOVE.

It was a human tribe :(

and I actually think that you choose your own family (irl), but that's another story.

Gimf's last family was epic. Role-playing with her and family members (and the awesome people around them) is what got me hooked on Arm. No lie!
As of February 2017, I no longer play Armageddon.

I give you my personal, executive SEAL OF APPROVAL that you can 100% murder your family members if they ICly deserve it (as interpreted through the lens of your character).
