Coded Mumbles/Murmurs

I would use this all the time.  As it stands now, I usually 'emote mumbles something' and follow it with a think that describes what my character mumbled, but that robs other people of the fun of potentially overhearing it.  Wink

I like the idea of it being overheard, however, I think it should be MUCH easier to hear than a whisper.

Whispers are, by nature, meant to be disguised. A mumble is just something you feel strongly about but don't have the balls (or enough spare blood) to say aloud. Not to mention, it's codedly like 5x easier to hear someone talking in the next room over than to hear someone whispering at the bar next to you. If it were a whisper, your warrior/merc sargeant would NEVER hear you mumble. Ever. Period.
