What social is ls?
Varak:You tell the mangy, pointy-eared gortok, in sirihish: "What, girl? You say the sorceror-king has fallen down the well?"
Ghardoan:A pitiful voice rises from the well below, "I've fallen and I can't get up..."

'looks sad'
A rusty brown kank explodes into little bits.

Someone says, out of character:
"I had to fix something in this zone.. YOU WEREN'T HERE 2 minutes ago :)"

I type ls -la sometimes when I mean to type inventory.

I don't get how you can type "ls" instead of "i".

I still type 'break' when I am trying to 'cease'. Only when I am in a near death situation and my heart is pounding.

'ls' is the command for 'list' and lists files in a directory.

At least on the linux computers.  :-\

Just noticed a typo in my description about a month and a half in.

Hit yourself up with the typo command!

...wait do I really get to do that?

Wait, we aren't supposed to type break?  :P

You can typo yourself or other characters.  No guarantee it gets the typo fixed, though.

Also, my 1st PC would constantly over-use the Way and would pass out.  Even after getting the hang of the skill, I just continued to have him pass out when over-whelmed (including before nobility)

Wouldn't you Wish All in that situation >.>?

My point was that aliasing "break" to "cease" is problematic, because the "break" command has a function in-game.

Thus, if you tried to use the "break" command while it's aliased to "cease," every time you try to "break" a plant, you will instead "cease."  You wouldn't have to wish up to fix it, you'd just have to delete the offending alias.

My longest-lived character died in the most embarrasing way i could ever imagine, outside of mudsex death. it was more than a year ago but i ought not describe it.

I saw a templar jump off the shield wall a few RL years ago. I can't imagine a more embarrassing death than that :D

The ironic part was that all us Bynners were arguing whether to be stereotypes and jump off the shield wall right after her. Then after fighting off giths to save an already dead templar and getting back to safe ground, another Bynner (my character) fell off the wall.

Clans can give stat bonuses and penalties, too. The Byn drop in wisdom is particularly notorious.

You just named a more embarassing death - dying after fighting to save a dead templar. Especially if it involves falling off the Shield Wall.

Next time wear your sticky suit!

I think I've fallen off the Shield Wall on almost every PC I've played to date.

Oddly enough, none of them died as a result.

I most definitely remember at some point being killed by something that was a lot meaner than I was pretending to be, I just can't remember what it was.
