I've always wanted to be a halfling but kinda put off by their disconnection with society.

We could play halfling buddies!

I'd rather be a Halfing belonging to/infatuated with some big-type.  ;D

It'd be completely unusual, weird, and almost(?) impossible.

I'm pretty sure you can eat his meat and get away with it.

Evil.
At your table, the badass dun-clad female says in tribal-accented sirihish, putting on a piping voice, incongruous not the least because it doesn't get rid of her rasp:
     "'Oh, I killed me a forest cat!' That's nice; I wiped me bum after taking a shit.

Halflings aren't so bad. Sure, they're iso, but once you tap into their mindset, it really doesn't matter anymore.

That does it, I'm adding them to my list of to-dos. :D

If solo-rp equals masturbation then halfling-rp equals a circle jerk.

Get out of the woods and join the orgy, guys...

No, stay in the woods. I can deal with not interacting with an imm-sponsored special-app filled pk clan.

She can be a halfling who likes to visit Allanak on stilts and drink ale with her pards in the Gaj.

If the imms, for some reason, accepted that, I would kill it quickly, and then set it on fire.

Welcome to Armageddon pre-1995  :P

Add a few mantis to that and you're reminding me of my youth.
"When I was a fighting man, the kettle-drums they beat;
The people scattered gold-dust before my horse's feet;
But now I am a great king, the people hound my track
With poison in my wine-cup, and daggers at my back."

She'd say "Guards, this man is trying to hurt me, please arrest him with haste!"

I meant to stop playing in ISO clans.  They make Armageddon sad.   :'(

This is beautiful. I think it's the first time that me and jstorrie agree on something.

Waste of space and brings nothing to the game IMO. I've found most dealings with halflings silly and unzalanthan.
Definately a neat Iso clan but I'd rather have those talented players out causing trouble in nak, tuluk or luirs, rather than stowed away to deal only with a couple other players.

As cute as it is to see something tiny run out of a bush screaming with a spear, I'd much rather have another active body in a city-state.

playable giths, THAT I think would bring a cool npc race to life. Wouldn't take as serious of a watch over by immortal eye and at least gith have documentation and a history of trade with elves/humans etc. which would make for great interactions.
