Tuluki Nobles Wanted

It is with great pleasure that we are now accepting applications for three (3) Northern Nobles. Every House of the Northern Noble caste is open and available to be picked for these positions. The only House that cannot be picked this time around is Tenneshi because it is full.

There is a limit of two nobles per House and there will be restrictions on how many PCs each Noble may hire directly into the House - as a guide, do not expect to be able to hire more than two (2) PCs until one's social standing increases. There is no such restriction on making use of partisans.

When applying please read through the updated documentation on the Northern Houses. Please include a sketch of the character concept, include goals and projects you would like to accomplish, and do not forget to include your account name. Do your best to show an understanding of Northern culture and politics.

Applications will be evaluated and chosen based primarily on the plans for the character and the suitability of the character to the Northern Noble Caste. Therefore, it would probably be best to focus on those two areas when applying. Regular playing times are required.

For anyone who may have been eager and already submitted a noble concept - please go to the new documentation, read up on it, and make any changes necessary to the app and resubmit. No applications that are 'on file' will be considered so please resubmit.

The application process will be as follows:

One week (until next Wednesday, October 18th 2006) is given to submit applications at which point they will be closed. Then it will take one week (until Wednesday, October 25th 2006) to evaluate and pick the application. We will endeavour to acknowledge the receipt of each application with a "Thank you for submitting." This will merely be an indication that the application was received.

Those who are selected for the roles will be given access to the full documentation of the House they picked and will be encouraged to flesh out their application based on that knowledge.

Because many of the Houses are new to players (five of them are) there may be some growing pains so please keep that in mind as well.

Just another reminder:  Apps will close tomorrow (Wdnesday Oct 18th).

So if you are considering applying for a northern noble in this iteration and being part of something significant - please submit your app by then.  You will have tomorrow until 11:59pm Eastern to do so.

For all who have sent in applications:  You should have received a confirmation that your application was received.  If you have not please send out an email saying so.
