I think dismissing the problem with "cry more noob and bye" is not the answer.

To the OP, I tend to agree that you should get back on the horse. Heck, I made notes on what to do and what not to do when I was playing my first character. Even though I had more than a bit of luck in some sticky situations.

Also, don't be afraid to ask the crusty looking old hunter who you see every day at the bar how to make a start outside the gates. If you are an aide, don't be afraid to ask your masterrr patro.. boss what you should be doing. Communication is a handy skill.

OOCly, harass the helpers with your questions, that is what they volunteered for.
