Quick Reference Card
« on: August 05, 2004, 09:16:39 PM »
I put this up because I keep forgetting stuff and thought someone else out there might find it useful.

It's basically a quick reference card with emote language, measurements, days of the week on it and stuff like that.

Probably should have included a link to the helpers list and the help page.
Maybe later.

I like it. :)

Though, I think "The tall man has arrived from the east, glancing over his shoulder" should be "Glancing over his shoulder, the tall man has arrived from the east". I think the directional emote shows before the sdesc in the room you arrive to.

If someone can confirm the directional emote thing, I'll fix it.  Like I said, I keep forgetting things. :-)

Can we archive this so it doesn't get lost in the forum clutter?

(For others to find. I've got the site bookmarked, myself.)

Yeah, that'll be useful to a lot of people.

Although I'd certainly prefer Mr. Camel's way of writing it, I'll verify the movement emotes are correct as they stand now. It is, however, different when riding something, which might well be worthy of inclusion:

ie.

When mounted:
w (cantering through the crowds)

The tall-faced man has arrived from the east, cantering through the crowds, riding a greenish-brown kank.

I think.

Wow.  That is exceptionally helpful, actually.  What a wonderful little compilation.

But it does make me wonder how they measure volume in Zalanthas.  Just, like, cubic cords?

I'm moving this to Archives, per Delirium's request.
