Its getting to be close that time dates and scheduled events to be announced here and on in game boards. Keep your eyes on in game boards for contests and events leading up to the Festival!

Dates are set for October 1-4th

Contests and competitions leading up the Ocotillo Festival are underway. Please see in game boards regarding rules for the Harvest and Cooking contests.

Just a reminder Ocotillo Festival now less than 2 weeks away.  If you're a leader who's House/Clan/Tribe would be involved or wants to be involved, you need to reach out to the appropriate parties. Please send me a PM  with the event you would like to run a brief desc and the times your available to run it so I can get ball rolling.

Current line up!


Oct 1st
6:40 Arena Bells!
7pm Opening speeches followed by an Arena Event sponsored by Lord Templar Thratahris Oash
8pm Following the Arena event Citizens and wagons should gather outside the Dome on Meleth's
9pmish  March on Yaroch
9:30ish Annual Fale Chariot Races!
10pmish Merchants and Nobles Opening Ball in the Oash Pavillion to run concurrently with Celebrations
for the Commoners in the Tavern.

Oct 2nd
4pm Oashi Tall Tales contest in the Oash Pavilion
6pm-8pm Salarr Commoners auction to be held in the Salarr Pavilion
8pm-9pm Kadius Cooking Contest to be held in the Kadian Pavilion
9pm-11pm Salarr Highborn Auction to be held in the Salarr pavilion
11pm Salarr  Melee contest! To be held in the Salarr pavilion!

Oct 3rd
3pm Card Tournament Hosted by the illustrious Tan Muark! To be held in their Tent! This brand new card game will involve betting bluffing and some luck!
6pm (ish?) Strange Talents - Fale Talent contest in the OASH Pavilion
9pm Kadius Nobles Auction in the Kadian Tent
9pm Kurac Commoners Auction to run concurrently (pending confirmation)
10pm Byn Boxing event in the village tavern

Oct 4th
3pm House Jal "Focused" Storytelling Contest - Extremes, in the Oash Pavilion
4:30pm House Borsail Event in the Borsail Pavilion
6pm The Great Kurac Scavenger hunt participants to gather in Yaroch's tavern prior to event.
6PM Atrium Art Auction to be held in the Oash Pavilion
9pm Closing Ceremonies 'burning man' to be lead by Lord Inquisitor Sahtuk Valika



This should be the final schedule of events. Please check IC rumor boards for upcoming announcements. Independents, performers, and anyone else who wants to be involved please contact the appropriate parties while time allows.

Registration for the card game starting in 30mins! FYI will be allowing until up to 4pm approx. for people to show up, settle and learn the rules before the tourney begins!

Festival events are hard work. An enormous amount of time and sweat goes into making them fun, no matter how organized and streamlined you are. Things always go topsy-turvy in some way. So, huge congratulations to all who ran and participated in this. Hats off to you.
