Update to Elven racial roleplay
« on: June 05, 2019, 07:39:24 PM »
The topic of elves riding skimmers and wagons is not clearly posted. I know this has been brought up before but apparently not in this decade.
Are city elves generally too proud to ride a wagon or a skimmer? Just want a concise guideline so nobody is committing a travesty, or can be pointed out to be if they are.

Who would you kill for a klondike bar?

Hello! The direct answer to your question is yes, they are too proud. Here is a snippet from the city elf help file:

All elves find riding mounts to be a shameful act (though they can usually forgive the use of mounts by other races). In other words, elves will never willingly ride on mounts, in wagons, or on skimmers, as to do so would be to insult one of the few things they are proud of: their natural speed and endurance on the run.

This would apply to desert elves, too.
