My feeling is Dany is going to die, Tyrion is de-facto King being her hand, and abdicates to Jon, who dissolves the Iron Throne and everyone fucks a tree.

Arya kills Dany, Jon gets the throne, but gives it up to Sansa who rules with Tyrion, then he heads north with Professor X (Bran) and the wildlings.
Armageddon is best when it's actually harsh and brutal, not when we're only pretending that it is.

Jaime's story arc was utterly fucking pointless.

When Euron randomly came up out the see as Jamie was walking by I couldn't groan load enough.  This shit unfolding like a gd video game boss battle.  It felt like this the whole time with characters reuniting with one another and shit.  Like there's a huge ass castle burning down around them and Jamie finds Cersei.  Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Last dragon gets ganked.  New strat? Just charge tf out of the ships and obliterate everything with one dragon effortlessly.  Why did we even have three dragons up to this point?

Varys, Littlefinger and Tyrion are all known for their connections.  They're all known to serve morally ambiguous people (to say the least) to stay alive.  But in this epsiode Varys apparently turns into a bumbling idiot with no sense or logic of self-preservation and thinks it's a legit idea to tell Jon to depose Dany.  What?  WHAT?

Varys is the very person that recruited fucking Tyrion.  So then Tyrion tattles on him, throws him under the bus for treason --- then turns right around and frees Jaimie.  So he had his friend killed for why?  Clearly not because he's above treasonous acts.

None of the characters are acting like themselves.  And it's not one season in.  They've literally just dumped all character consistency ONE episode from the finish line.  I was SO disappointed in that episode.

For the record my bet is also on Tyrion Sansa combo for the throne.

Yup the writing has gone to shit, this is what happens when they focus on shows over books.

Shows and movies should always come after books.

Anyone bitching about Jaime returning to Cersei better have neither loved someone truly awful or had an addiction.

Yeah this show has kind of turned into a sloppy shit sandwich. Clegane Bowl 6000 was fairly cool, at least.

I hope the last episode is just Podrick wrecking tang and Dany accidentally feeding herself to the dragon.
We were somewhere near the Shield Wall, on the edge of the Red Desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

And then I sat there going "really? that was it? that's so stupid."

I still think the best closure you get in Armageddon is just moving on to the next character.

Well my bracket was busted all to heck.  Way too many people survived!

It was kinda unsatisfying, this last episode.  Trying to cram too much into one episode maybe.

I mean... I guess at least it wasn't predictable.

*Seems all that wonderful cinematography with Arya last episode was pointless.  Though, if she had killed Daenerys then I suppose Jon would have been pointless.

*The only thing more cringe-worthy than Samwell proposing democracy was the over-the-top hurr-hurr-durr rejection of it.

*Maybe making the boy-wizard who can see the future King is a rational choice, however I can only assume the reason the lords of Westeros agreed was because it gave their families a shot at the throne come 60 years or so?

*The peasants of the North don't seem to want to be independent, they just want to be ruled by a Stark.  Bran is a Stark.  I mean... Sansa didn't even bother asking if they were cool with Bran being uber-king.  She just assumed they're rather have her at the top... oh.... maybe she's smart after all.

*Was this really all in according to Bran's plan, though?  So he told Jon about his heritage not to see him on the throne, but to contribute to Daenerys' isolation/madness, push her over the edge, and then make Jon kill her?  Wouldn't that, in fact, make him ultimately responsible for the massacre of King's Landing and a horrifically evil monster?

*Arya sails to the West like some elf.  I mean, sure, why not.  I guess there's nothing else for her to do.

*Lastly, why were the Wildlings waiting at Castle Black?  Why do they need Jon to guide them back through their own homelands?

It was shitty, well the whole stabbing her while awkward drenching her was great.

The whole Arya becoming Dora the Explorer was lame.

Bran the broken, I almost threw up in my mouth it was so badly done.

Why is Tormund at the wall? Why are they just randomly riding into the wildling area?

So many half-assed things.

While we're on the subject of radioactive disasters, Chernobyl is a good show.

Story-wise, I was fine with this. The execution was poorly done and rushed. Despite all the effort they put into glorious battles and effects, it's like trying to sprinkle glitter and perfume onto a steaming pile of shit (the writing). There's only so much that can be done. The actors all portrayed their characters exceptionally, regardless of what piss-poor writing they had to follow.

Edited to add:
My favorite, from all the reactions, was this comment; “Can't believe Sam invented democracy and they all laughed, but then they thought ‘Hmm yes, this insane teenager who stares at us all the time...my liege,’”
