GDB Calendar use

I noticed there is a calendar when I log in to the GDB, but it does not appear to be usable.  I cannot add anything to it and there are no entries.

Is there any planned use of this?

Would it be possible to create calendars for specific sub-boards so that we can add RPT information, recurring events, and so on?

I'm unsure whether this functionality exists in SMF or not and have not RTFM yet.

The calendar is managed by staff and forum moderators. If you have an RPT posted in the RPT forum, or an APM posted in it's relevant forum, you are welcome to report your post to ask for it to be added to the calendar. While I believe this will also work for clan specific calendar dates, I'm less sure if it'll be hidden to people who don't have access to the clan forum.
